Wenham, located just 22 miles north of Boston, is an old New England town that has retained much of its unique historic character and peaceful rural scenery including nearly 300 acres of parks, playgrounds and recreational lands. Wenham shares its school system with Hamilton and is home to Gordon College, one of the top Christian colleges in the nation and the Wenham Tea House, the oldest Tea House in the country. The commuter rail station in the neighboring town of Hamilton or a short ride to access Route 128 makes commuting into Boston a breeze.
In 2010, Boston Magazine noted the community of Hamilton-Wenham as one of the “Best Places to Live” on the North Shore and in 2015 ranked the Hamilton-Wenham Public School as 23rd in the state. Wenham is 8 square miles and in 2014 had a population of 4,892.
